A little bit about me
- I have worked with people with disability since 2018.
- I would describe my practice as family-centred, holistic and person-centred. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy spending time reading, with family or friends and with my dog - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as cheerful, curious and kind, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
In my free time
I enjoy building genuine and respectful relationships with individuals. Helping to empower the people I work with and their support networks to find independence, strength, confidence, and increase their choice and control. Celebrating wins - big or small - and being able to focus on patience, kindness and consistency to improve the wellbeing of not only the individual, but their network.
