A little bit about me
- I have worked with people with disability since 1991.
- I would describe my practice as adaptive, collaborative, family-centred, holistic, neurodiversity-affirming, person-centred, play-based, sensory-informed, skill-building and trauma-informed. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy spending time fishing, gardening, going to live music gigs, playing sport, reading, with family or friends and with my dog - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as calm, compassionate, engaging, friendly, positive, reliable, respectful and thoughtful, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
