A little bit about me
- I have worked with people with disability since 2024.
- I would describe my practice as collaborative, developmental, evidence-based, family-centred, functional, goal-oriented, holistic, interactive, motivational, neurodiversity-affirming, person-centred, play-based, practical, sensory-informed, skill-building, social skills-focused, strengths-based and trauma-informed. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy spending time camping, crafting, fishing, going to live music gigs, going to the theatre, travelling, watching TV Shows and with family or friends - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as approachable, calm, cheerful, collaborative, compassionate, confident, dedicated, empathetic, encouraging, engaging, inclusive, kind, knowledgeable, organised, patient, positive, proactive, reliable, respectful, thoughtful, trustworthy and understanding, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
