A little bit about me

  • I have worked with people with disability since 2014.
  • I would describe my practice as person-centred, strengths-based and trauma-informed. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
  • I enjoy spending time cooking, with family or friends and with my pet - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
  • People I work with often describe me as empathetic, thoughtful and trustworthy, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.

In my free time

What I like most about supporting people with a disability is building genuine relationships and seeing people grow in confidence over time.

I value creating environments where people feel heard, respected and safe. I believe it's rewarding helping people feel understood and supported in a way that feels meaningful to them. I also believe in celebrating the small wins and focusing on the positives, because those moments of progress, no matter how small they may be, really matter.
