A little bit about me
- I have worked with people with disability since 2024.
- I would describe my practice as adaptive, person-centred and trauma-informed. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy spending time learning new skills, watching TV Shows and with my dog - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as approachable, empathetic and reliable, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
In my free time
What I value about supporting people with disability is building trusting relationships and supporting individuals to feel understood, safe and empowered in their everyday lives.
I enjoy working collaboratively with participants and their families and or support workers and wider care team to support meaningful goals, while adapting my approach to meet each persons unique strengths, needs and preferences.
