A little bit about me
- I have worked with people with disability since 2020.
- I would describe my practice as adaptive, collaborative, developmental, evidence-based, family-centred, goal-oriented, motivational, neurodiversity-affirming, person-centred, sensory-informed, skill-building, strength and conditioning and trauma-informed. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy spending time cooking, crafting, drawing, playing board games, practicing mindfulness, reading, trying new things, video gaming, watching movies, watching TV Shows, with family or friends and with my cat - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as adaptable, approachable, cheerful, collaborative, compassionate, confident, dedicated, empathetic, engaging, flexible, friendly, fun, goal-oriented, kind, patient, positive, respectful, thoughtful, trustworthy and understanding, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
