A little bit about me
- I have worked with people with disability since 2021.
- I would describe my practice as adaptive, neurodiversity-affirming and person-centred. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy spending time crafting, going to live music gigs and hiking - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as cheerful, empathetic and reliable, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
What I like most about supporting people
I love getting to know the people who I work with and the way that they experience the world. Using this information to develop personalised strategies that support their achievement of goals, and being involved in efforts to improve a person's quality of life will always be hugely motivating and exciting for me.
