A little bit about me
- I have worked with people with disability since 2021.
- I would describe my practice as adaptive, empowering and person-centred. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy spending time cooking, with family or friends and with my dog - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as approachable, empathetic and engaging, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
What I like most about supporting people
I enjoy building strong, positive relationships with people with disabilities and making a difference in their lives and the lives of those that provide care for them. Providing support and encouragement to set and achieve goals, learn new skills, gain independence and reach their potential. Supporting people with disabilities gives me a strong sense of purpose and connection, encourages and supports inclusion and social connections, advocating, opportunities, empowering, encouraging and supporting people to live their best lives and achieve their goals.
