A little bit about me

  • I have worked with people with disability since 2021.
  • I would describe my practice as motivational, person-centred and strengths-based. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
  • I enjoy spending time cooking, fishing and hiking - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
  • People I work with often describe me as cheerful, compassionate and patient, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.

What I like most about supporting people

What I enjoy most about supporting people with disability is getting to know each person's unique strengths and working together to achieve goals that are meaningful to them. I find it incredibly rewarding to support participants to build confidence, develop new skills, and improve their quality of life. I enjoy working collaboratively with individuals and their support networks to create positive outcomes and celebrate the small wins along the way.
