A little bit about me
- I have worked with people with disability since 2014.
- I would describe my practice as adaptive, motivational and person-centred. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy spending time trying new things, video gaming and watching movies - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as compassionate, confident and friendly, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
What I like most about supporting people
I get to help people who others try to ignore. By doing so, I can help these individuals become more (happier) than they would have been, otherwise.
