A little bit about me
- I have worked with people with disability since 2017.
- I would describe my practice as collaborative, family-centred and person-centred. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy spending time playing team sports, running and staying fit - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as cheerful, inclusive and positive, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
What I like most about supporting people
No two days are ever the same. I value working closely with each individual to understand their needs, preferences and interest, and providing support that is truly person-centered and my passion for this work comes from my own personal lived experience, growing up with two younger siblings with complex care needs.
This experience has shaped my understanding, empathy and commitment to making a positive difference in people's lives.
