A little bit about me
- I have worked with people with disability since 2013.
- I would describe my practice as adaptive, collaborative and holistic. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy spending time going to the theatre, learning new skills and reading - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as flexible, kind and trustworthy, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
What I like most about supporting people
The breadth of practice involved in advocating for individuals to live their lives how they see fit. I enjoy the differences between my days and the challenges that accompany them. I strive to learn from those who I work with to further develop my practice in a way that is individually holistic and nurturing, whilst also incorporating the beliefs and values of the wider community as a whole.
