A little bit about me

  • I have worked with people with disability since 2018.
  • I would describe my practice as culturally responsive, person-centred and trauma-informed. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
  • I enjoy spending time reading, watching movies and with family or friends - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
  • People I work with often describe me as calm, empathetic and engaging, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.

What I like most about supporting people

Being able to work together with people with disability to improve their quality of life and ensure that the supports available to them meets their needs. I also enjoy playing a part in educating the community on evidence-based and trauma-informed practice that effects change which has a positive impact on the lives of people with a disability.
