A little bit about me
- I have worked with people with disability since 2012.
- I would describe my practice as family-centred, holistic and strengths-based. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy spending time camping, with family or friends and with my pet - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as compassionate, kind and patient, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
What I like most about supporting people
What I enjoy most about supporting people with disability is building positive relationships and helping people feel heard, respected, and understood. I am passionate about empowering individuals to make their own choices, work towards their goals, and participate in everyday life in ways that are meaningful to them. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and given the support they need to thrive. Seeing someone grow in confidence and independence is one of the most rewarding parts of the role.
