A little bit about me
- I have worked with people with disability since 2021.
- I would describe my practice as evidence-based, functional and person-centred. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy spending time going to the gym, learning new skills and travelling - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as curious, patient and proactive, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
What I like most about supporting people
What I enjoy most about supporting people with disabilities is the chance to get to see someone who thought they couldn't do something thrive in achieving their goals and to watch families of those with disabilities to see that the disability is not as limiting as they first thought and they are more capable than they believed.
