A little bit about me
- I have worked with people with disability since 1998.
- I would describe my practice as collaborative, interactive and person-centred. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy spending time going to live music gigs, travelling and with family or friends - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as energetic, friendly and inclusive, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
What I like most about supporting people
I am deeply committed to supporting people with disabilities because it aligns with both my professional expertise and my core values. Over the past 29 years, I have worked across a range of roles including behaviour support, Head of Student Services in a variety of school settings, and positive behaviour coaching - supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours. Throughout this time, I have consistently been driven by a belief that every person deserves to feel safe, understood, and valued, and to have genuine opportunities to succeed.
My passion for this works come from seeing the impact - both in small, significant moments and in long-term outcomes. Supporting people with disabilities is not just a career for me it is a fundamental part of who I am and the contribution I want to continue making.
