- I have worked with people with disability since 2023.
- I would describe my practice as collaborative, evidence-based and person-centred. I adapt my approach so each person receives support that fits their goals and circumstances.
- I enjoy spending time cooking, with family or friends and with my cat - interests that often help spark connection with the people I support.
- People I work with often describe me as creative, encouraging and thoughtful, which reflects the environment I aim to create when delivering support.
What I like most about supporting people
For me, it is about building a genuine, trusting connections and creating a space where people feel heard, respected, and valued for who they are and how they are. Supporting people with a disability is about more than assistance—it is about empowering independence, encouraging choice, and helping each person work toward their own goals at their own pace and meeting them where they are.
Seeing growth in confidence, no matter how small the step might seem I find especially rewarding. Every individual brings their own strengths, personality, and experiences, and being part of that journey is both humbling and inspiring.
